Getting used to weather alerts/ Fields not to be used 5/5/25

5 May 2025 by Eric Pratt

Dear Bay Baseball Club Families,

As we continue getting organized for the 2025 season, we wanted to share a quick update on field conditions and how we will communicate field closures or weather-related updates.
Coaches will also have the hotline to reach out to as well. (Not updated until 3pm et (late afternoon)

Please do not reach out and blow up the inbox asking about game cancellations. We do not know until the maintenance crew gives us the ok. In the event it’s clearly rained too much to play baseball, we’ll be able to update sooner in the day.

Today, May 5th, as of 3:00 PM, the fields are not playable and should not be used this evening. Please note that it is unlikely you had a practice scheduled today, as roster information has just recently been distributed. If you did see some older division teams scheduled for activities, that is part of our efforts to get our Little League divisions (older kids) moving slightly ahead of Pinto K and Pinto divisions.

This message is part of our process: we will use the Stack Team App to communicate quickly and clearly regarding field closures, weather issues, or any urgent updates. Even if you don’t have a practice scheduled, you may receive these alerts so that everyone stays informed and we build good habits early in the season.

If you haven’t yet downloaded and set up the Stack Team App, we strongly encourage you to do so to stay connected.

Thank you for your understanding and support – we are excited to see you and your players on the field very soon!

Warm regards,
Bay Baseball Club
